Do I need a network connection to use the product?

You can use the camera (baby unit) with only the monitor (parent unit). You do not need a Wi-Fi connection to see the video on the handheld.

However, in order to use the ChillaxCare app, you will need to have a private password-protected 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
